Following highly successful events in 2011 and 2012, fifteen Rainbow Teams, five Dutch and five Utrecht lakes, fifteen cities and local businesses as well as a score of on-shore activities, once again stand for the latest sailing sensation in the ‘Randstad’.

The Green Heart of the Netherlands is all about the second National Rainbow Event from July 2th until July 7th 2013. This Dutch classic will take you on a tour through authentic villages, past fascinating lakes and along rustic cycling or canoeing routes while sailors are battling it out on the different lakes to win the Silver Rainbow Award.

On Friday the 5th you can enjoy the spectacular race at the Westeinderplas during the day. There will be music and other entertainment. Vouchers and drinks are obtainable in the party tent like last year.
20:00 begins the evening party with the Bianculli piano trio and a dj.
